ASP.NET Datagrid Columns Visible True & False - 01/11/2010

Just a simple note to remind me for the future...

<asp:datagrid id = "mygrid"
              autogeneratecolumns = "false"
              runat = "server">

  <asp:BoundColumn DataField = "paalert" HeaderText = "Alert" visible = "false" />

So there's a really simple datagrid with one hidden column.  If you wish to make the column visible in the programs...

    mygrid.columns(0).visible = "true"

is the datagrid name, columns is what we are dealing with, the (0) means it's column 0...REMEMBER we count columns left to right starting from 0, ZERO
